One call and Chris Cody was at my door less than two hours later. He took at look at the problem - a cracked vent boot - and had it repaired in less then 30 minutes. As an added bonus, he check the other vent boot and caulked some spots along the roof vent. Chris was extremely professional and competent and even gave some tips on repairing the leak damage inside. The work is guaranteed and I will be recommending Grier Roofing to everyone. Thanks so much! July 2019....A new leak at a different location on the same 10-year-old roof and still excellent service. Chris Cody was back at the rescue. He was prompt, efficient, polite, and took the time to check other areas for problems. When this roof needs to be replaced, he is my first call. I cannot recommend Grier Roofing highly enough! We received three quotes for a roof replacement, and Grier Roofing was the lowest by a significant amount. Additionally, Chris Cody was awesome to work with. He is friendly and incredibly helpful, and very clearly dedicated to fantastic customer service. The turnaround was very quick. We finalized the details on Monday, and work started on Wednesday, then completed the following day. Also, when the insurance adjuster came out, they pointed out areas where our vinyl had come detached. I asked Mr. Cody if that was something they could do as well, and he said he would have it done free of charge. The roofing team didn’t quite fix it all the way, so Mr. Cody came back out and fixed it himself. ~ Andi A

We just had a metal roof removed & a new architectural shingle roof put down. We personally have known Chris for many years & he is a fair, honest, & dependable guy, & his employee Brian who we worked with directly is an awesome guy & very knowledgeable about roofing. Their prices are very reasonable & the work is exceptional.. I would definitely recommend them & if I have any issues in the future with my roof I know that they will do everything possible to resolve the issue. Grier Roofing did a awesome job, showed up at the crack of dawn got going and finished nearly 2100 sq feet in one day , removed old shingles, they replaced bad spots in sub roof, removed old chimney to below roof level, left a clean yard. And were well priced compared to some of the other known roofers in the area. The Crew was professional , solid workmanship. Very Thoughtful and thinking ahead, asked me if I wanted to remove my vehicles out of the garage so I could get out easily, without being blocked or getting nails prior to job complete. All Pro, no cons, Even my wife commented on how clean almost untouched the yard looked after departure. I highly recommend Grier Roofing to anyone needing roof work.This is the first time I have had to replace the shingles on my roof and repair a leak. I was not sure what company to call so after a google search and reading great reviews I was convinced that Grier Roofing was the best. I've had a really bad experience with a local company that has been around for quite a while so I tried Grier Roofing out and was so relieved to have a truly professional roofing company to work with. Great experience with Chris! We needed a small repair on our roof after some wind damage. He returned my call promptly and my roof was repaired the next day! Other roofers were over priced and said it would be a week before someone could come. Chris provided fast and professional service! This is the second time Grier roofing has done work on my roof. The first time was before we bought the house and we had a leak repaired. We have had no issues since the repair and it’s been a year. Called 4 different companies to try to get someone out here to check my roof. No one would even come out the same week and I was told it would be 3 weeks to a month till it would be fixed. I called Grier Roofing about 2 weeks ago because I noticed yellow circles on my ceilings and I though my roof may be leaking due to the recent tropical storm. I was able to speak with Chris who got me an appointment scheduled right away.There was no hassle in scheduleing an appointment . The day of the appointment he arrived on time as promised. He even had to wait on me because I was running behind. Chris was very professional and ready to solve my roof problem. It didn’t take him long to figure out the issue. Turns out my roof wasn’t leaking but water was getting past the metal pipe on the roof which was showing up on the ceiling. Chris was able to easily fix the problem and didn’t try to beat me over the head with an outrageous bill. I would highly recommend Grier Roofing to anyone in need of a roofer. Chris’s level of service, professionalism, and the affordable prices has turned me into a true raving fan! My mom had Grier out for a leak and some damaged sheeting and we couldn’t be happier with the service we have received. Brian Stuart came out for the initial inspection and provided a very prompt and reasonable solution to her problems. We really appreciate his patience and professional approach to getting things done. Chris Cody and his team were awesome to work with after the hail storm in 2013. I called him to look at our roof and he was there that evening. They installed shingles on house and storage building, arrived early and was finished that evening. Everything was cleaned up and the only thing they left was a beautiful new roof. Had a new roof put on three years ago and the other day during a heavy rain storm some water came in through our chimney. Called Grier to take a look to make sure the flashing hadn't separated. Jeff James came out to inspect and took photo's of what he saw....the flashing was in like-new condition. We figured the cap on the top of the chimney developed a crack and that is what allowed the water to enter. The roofers showed up properly on time at 7 AM, took tarts covered all the trees air condition fence deck everything that would be hard to clean up trash. They properly removed and replace the roof and cleaned up everything as well as expected by me. I would recommend Grier roofing and the salesman Mitch to anyone. Great guy and worked well with us! I first came across Chris Greer, Grier Roofing about 20 years ago when I needed a roof on a commercial building I was renting. His price was very reasonable compared to the others I got quotes from, and he seemed to be capable and knowledgeable. I took a chance on Grier Roofing and have never looked back. They did more than they said they would do, they were responsive, accommodating, courteous, timely, they followed up quickly on any issues I thought I had, they did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and are always there when I need them. Since then, they have roofed my office, other rental property, my house, church, and is the best building subcontractor I have ever dealt with. These folks are honest, the are not trying to make their whole year off of you, they do business for the long term. I have had nothing but excellent service from Grier Roofing and can unhesitatingly, unreservedly recommend them for anyone's roofing needs. We recieved several quotes in the Columbia area for replacing our roof and Grier Roofing had the best price. I was really impressed by the crew, they worked so hard, they paid attention to detail, kept us updated on progress and cleaned up after themselves. With all this Hurricane weather recently I had a water leak coming from my hot water heater exhaust pipe on my roof.
